Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I consider myself to be a digital “jack-of-all-trades”, but the content of this page will focus on:

My career in digital learning began in 2008; accumulating 17 years of experience in eLearning and Instructional Design. I have dabbled in the cybersecurity and academic industries, but most of my experience is in the pharmaceutical industry.
My journey has been driven by a passion for using digital technologies, and by transforming complex scientific content into engaging, accessible, and effective digital learning experiences. I take pride in designing templated, streamlined, scalable processes and documentation that ensure quality, creativity, and efficiency throughout all stages of a project life cycle.
My expertise spans learning strategy, medical storyboarding and conceptualization, creative direction, and hands-on production using rapid authoring tools (Storyline/iSpring/Rise), creating custom medical illustrations, and multimedia animation.
I have also been responsible for the creation and management of Learning Management Systems (LMS), Confluence and JIRA instances, and assisted in change management for adopting new softwares company-wide, such as Workfront.
Throughout my career, I have spent 10 years in leadership positions, managing teams of 10-20 employees. I consider these times to be invaluable, as I’ve learned as much from my employees as I hope they have from me. Building an eLearning department from the ground-up was a wonderful experience for me, managing the production of pharmaceutical eLearning deliverables up to $20 million USD annually.

At the heart of my work is a simply joy – helping people learn. I find satisfaction in breaking down detailed, complex information into digestible learning experiences that resonate and stick.
When I’m not in front of a storyboard, or strategically conceptualizing the next launch, you’ll likely find me behind a camera lens. Photography is my creative outlet, and I’m always up for chasing a sunset or capturing a moment in time. I’m also a proud animal lover (previously owned 3 cats and a dog), a frequent traveler, and gardener at heart. In the summer, you’ll find me tending my gardens of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, figs, and grapes. However, when winter comes around, you’ll likely find me indoors, exploring virtual worlds and video games, and snuggling my fur babies.
